Wonderland Roblox — Beginner's Survival Guide

Wonderland Roblox — minigun weapon from the Wonder Shop

Wonderland dropped players into a randomized horror park with three lives, no map by default, and toy-like creatures that can end a run fast. The mechanics confirmed so far are relatively straightforward — mastering them before you're mid-run makes a real difference.

Manage your stamina

Your stamina bar is the most immediately punishing mechanic in the game. Sprint continuously and it empties. Once empty, you can only walk — which is a problem if a creature is 10 meters behind you. Stamina recovers only while walking, not standing still.

Rule of thumb: Sprint in short bursts. If you are not being actively chased, walk to let the bar recover. Save a full sprint bar for the moment you need it. Never sprint to a new area just to explore faster — you may arrive with no stamina and trigger a creature encounter immediately.

Spend Tickets on the right item first

The Wonder Shop sells four items, each for 10 Tickets. Which one to buy first depends on your squad and run progress:

  • Map — highest general value early in a run. Knowing the park layout tells you where mini-games are, where dead ends are, and where to retreat. Strongly recommended as a first purchase.
  • Stopwatch — its description says it shows "the time before a special someone arrives." Most useful if you're pushing deeper into the run and need to know when a forced event triggers.
  • Hammer — melee combat against creatures. Useful when you can't avoid a confrontation. Lower range than the Minigun.
  • Minigun — described as "loud, scary, very effective." The noise may attract more creatures, so use it when effectiveness matters more than staying quiet.

Mini-games are the core of every run

Completing mini-games does three things: unlocks new areas, earns Tickets, and can be the only way out of a monster encounter. Prioritize them over exploration. The four mini-game types are sequential puzzles, lever arrays, mazes, and platforming obbies. Each is self-contained — when you see one, complete it before moving on rather than looping back later.

Three lives applies to the whole squad

Lives are not per-player — they're a shared squad resource. One careless teammate dying twice costs everyone. Coordinate before rushing into unfamiliar areas. If you're playing with randoms who burn lives fast, adjust your playstyle to be more conservative.

Not every creature is an enemy

The game's own wiki notes that some characters in the park may actually help you escape rather than hunt you. When you encounter an unfamiliar creature, observe its behavior for a moment before committing to a sprint — wasting stamina fleeing a non-hostile wastes lives indirectly.

Runs are randomized — don't memorize routes

Because Wonderland randomizes the park layout each run, any route you learned last time is unreliable this time. The Map from the Wonder Shop is the only reliable navigation aid. Treat each run as a fresh read of the environment rather than following memorized paths.
